Full Product Description Permalast® is made from extra-heavyweight polyester fibers bonded into air filter media in the form of a high-loft interlocking mat which is extremely rigid. This rigidity eliminates the need for external support, which means there is no requirement for a holding frame with wire backing to retain the pads in service. Permalast® media is also very flexible, which allows for easy installation in tight spaces. It can be twisted, bent or flexed in any way necessary to make it fit and is capable of springing back to its original shape. Permalast® filter media is ideally suited for use in heavy-duty installations, such as outdoor locations or where high concentrations of dust, lint, hair, leaves or other large particulates are present. The polyester fibers bonded with a polyvinyl acetate binder provide high compression strength and allow the filters to be washed or vacuum-cleaned. There is no need to order special-sized disposable panel filters, as Permalast® media can be simply cut to the desired size with scissors, a utility knife or a paper cutter, making installation quick and easy
